What syringe size should I use for peptide injections?

Most research peptide protocols use insulin syringes, either 0.5ml U-100 (50 units total) or 1.0ml U-100 (100 units total). U-100 means 100 units per milliliter. The calculator works with either size.

How much bacteriostatic water should I use to reconstitute a peptide vial?

There is no single correct answer. The volume determines concentration. 2ml of BAC water is common for 10mg vials because it yields a 5 mg/ml concentration that maps neatly to insulin syringe units. The calculator recomputes everything when you change the BAC water volume.

How the calculation works

Concentration = vial mg ÷ BAC water ml. A 10mg vial in 2ml of BAC water = 5 mg/ml.
Syringe draw (ml) = desired dose ÷ concentration. For 1.5mg at 5 mg/ml that's 0.3ml.
Syringe units = ml × 100 (U-100 syringes are 100 units per ml). 0.3ml = 30 units.
Micrograms per unit = concentration × 10. Useful for small-dose peptides like Semax or MOTS-c.
Vial duration = vial mg ÷ dose per administration, rounded down to whole days.
